M&U contracts managers attend Keepmoat Homes ball
Four Mitchell & Urwin Contracts Managers swapped their high vis vests for black tie at the Keepmoat Homes Annual Charity Spring Ball, held on 27 April 2018. The ball was held to raise funds for PACT, a charity that provides support for parents and children affected by brain tumours and leukaemia at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
The event was held at the Magna in Rotherham and included a three-course dinner, awards, entertainment and dancing till the small hours.
“Our Contracts Managers are a vital part of the Mitchell & Urwin team, acting as the interface between our bricklaying teams on the ground and our clients on site. We wanted to thank them for their hard work, while supporting our clients in their charity efforts for this worthwhile cause,” said Richard Urwin, Mitchell & Urwin founder. “We believe it’s important for our team to have time together in a relaxed environment. It helps everyone connect and unwind, which helps to foster even better relationships in the workplace. Thanks to Keepmoat Homes for a fantastic evening.”
The Mitchell & Urwin team comprised:
- Lee Weatherstone and Jane Weatherstone
- Pat Gill and Paige Knight
- Matt Smith and Helen Whitworth
- Mark Sylvester and Penny Reeder
The table also included Jay Burkill Keepmoat Senior Site Manager and his partner Clare.
